Luis Fernando Pena es un actor mexicano de cine y televisión nacido en 1984.
Estudio teatro en diversos talleres de actuación impartidos por el Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes.
Debuto en la cinta Un embrujo (Carlos Carrera. 1998). El mismo ano actúa en el polemico cortometraje Quiero ser (Floiran Gallember. 1998) y unos anos mas tarde participa en las cintas Brisa en Navidad (Carlos Carrera. 1999).
Con Perfume de violetas tiene su primera nominación al Ariel de Plata por mejor actor de reparto.
Por su interpretación en la película De la calle (Gerardo Tort. 2000) obtiene los premios "El Heraldo de México", "La Diosa de Plata", asi como el premio "Mayauel" al mejor actor en el Festival de Guadalajara y es nominado al Ariel de Plata en la categoría de mejor actor. Con Amar te duele (Fernando Sariñana. 2002) obtiene su segunda nominación al Ariel por mejor actor, en Biarritz obtiene el "Sol de Oro" por mejor interpretación masculina.
En 2003 realiza el cortometraje Contratiempo. Además de participar como director en la obra teatral Amor. Soledad te llamarías y actuar en Clase 406. Su ultima película es Corazón marchito.
En 2008 debuto como actor de reparto en la telenovela fuego en la sangre, junto a Adela Noriega
